This test is for the Upper Elementary (3–6) Education (ZP) endorsement.

Note: To obtain the Upper Elementary Education (ZP) endorsement, you must pass subtests 122, 123, 124, and either 121 or 117. Any questions about testing and endorsements can be directed to Michigan Department of Education.

Computer-based test (CBT)
Subtest 1: Professional Knowledge and Skills: 50 multiple-choice questions
Subtest 2: Literacy: 50 multiple-choice questions
Subtest 3: Mathematics: 50 multiple-choice questions
Subtest 4: Science and Social Studies: 60 multiple-choice questions

Time

Subtest 1: Professional Knowledge and Skills: 1 hour and 30 minutes total appointment time

15 minutes for CBT tutorial and nondisclosure agreement
1 hour and 15 minutes testing time

Subtest 2: Literacy: 1 hour and 30 minutes total appointment time

Notes

Calculators are not allowed on the Mathematics subtest (123).
